IST Lisbon hosted Rohde & Schwarz’s seminar “New Space. Advanced Measurements in High Frequencies and Materials Characterization“, bringing together experts in satellite communications, cybersecurity, and UAV networks. INESC INOV Lab researchers Carlos Ribeiro and António Grilo contributed as speakers, alongside Germán Martín (R&S).
Carlos Ribeiro presented “Adversarial Attacks on AI-Based Network Services”, addressing the vulnerabilities of AI-powered networks to adversarial cyber-attacks and showcasing Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) as a potential defense strategy. António Grilo delivered the talk “Intelligent UAV Communication Networks”, exploring the role of Flying Base Stations (FBS) and Flying Ad Hoc Networks (FANETs) in next-generation wireless communications.
The seminar highlighted INESC INOV-Lab’s central role in technological research, showcasing its expertise in cybersecurity and intelligent communication networks.
