The EuCNC & 6G Summit 2025 took place in early July in Poznań, Poland, bringing together over 1,100 participants from more than 40 countries. This flagship event in the telecommunications sector combined cutting-edge research with technology demonstrations, focusing on next-generation networks — from the deployment of 5G to the exploration of 6G and future communication systems.
Born from the merger between the European Conference on Networks and Communications (EuCNC), supported by the European Commission, and the 6G Summit, promoted by Finland’s 6G Flagship programme, the conference was technically co-sponsored by IEEE ComSoc, EURASIP, and EurAAP, and organised in partnership with the Poznan University of Technology.
The scientific programme featured 288 papers in regular sessions, 16 special sessions, 33 workshops, and 16 tutorials. All content was reviewed by a technical committee of around 400 experts from 36 countries, with an acceptance rate of 50% for regular papers, ensuring scientific quality and rigour.
Alongside the presentations, the event also hosted a technology exhibition with over 50 exhibitors, including live demonstrations from EU-funded R&D projects — particularly from the Horizon Europe SNS JU programme. The European Commission was the main patron of the event, with sponsorship from organisations such as Nokia, Orange, ITRI, Keysight, and Ericsson, among others.
Technological innovation in telecommunications is a core area of expertise at INOV, which proudly celebrates this initiative bringing together science, industry, and public policy.
