João Carlos Ferreira received the IEEE “Region 8 Best Blockchain Group” Award at the IEEE Region 8 event, held at Universitatea Politehnica din București, Romania.
This distinction recognizes the work carried out in the areas of training and dissemination in Blockchain, particularly within WP9 of the “BLOCKCHAIN.PT” project.
The award, which identifies the IEEE Portugal Blockchain group as the most active in Region 8, reflects a collective effort involving faculty members, researchers, students, and partners.
