Today, the University of Cabo Verde (Uni-CV) hosted a technical workshop on digital currencies, introduced by Professor Miguel Mira da Silva, scientific coordinator for the “Digital Transformation” area at INOV.

Aiming to promote a wider knowledge on digital currencies by engaging the academic community and civil society, this conference was part of the doctoral project led by the Graduate Assistant Professor Elcelina Carvalho da Silva, which focuses on the design and implementation models for Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDC) and is funded by Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT) through Ciência LP.

International collaboration in research stands out as one of INOV’s key objectives.
