INESC INOV-Lab hosted the CoDaS Summer School 2025 in Lisbon, welcoming participants from across Europe for a week of advanced training in communications engineering and data science.
Organised under the CoDaS M.Sc. Programme and supported by the European Union, the school brought together leading academics and industry experts to explore emerging topics such as 6G networks, machine learning, ambient intelligence, and vehicular edge computing.
The programme featured lectures by prominent researchers, including Luís M. Correia and António Grilo, both integrated members of INESC INOV-Lab and Técnico Lisboa. In addition to delivering key sessions, Professor Luís M. Correia moderated the interactive panel “Dialogue with the Speakers”, fostering open discussions on the future of communications technologies.
Highlights included a technical visit to NOS’ 5G Hub, use cases of operator datasets, and interdisciplinary insights ranging from biomedical AI applications to molecular communication.
The event reinforced INESC INOV-Lab’s role as a hub for advanced research, education, and international collaboration in digital technologies.
